Ridgetown Foodland

Campgrounds in Chatham-Kent can be quiet places of rest in wooded settings or resort destinations with many activities. Many area campgrounds are situated in parts of rare Carolinian forest and along Great Lakes shoreline offering campers very scenic surroundings. Provincial and municipal parks and private family campgrounds are available.

CM wilson

C.M. Wilson Conservation Area features more than 100 overnight family campsites and seasonal sites surrounded by Carolinian forest and wetlands with bird and wildlife, nature trails, and lake swimming.


Rondeau provincial park

Wheatley and Rondeau Provincial Parks offer tent, trailer, and group camping with convenient amenities.

The park in the fishing village of Wheatley features campsites in wooded settings and along a creek system. It has hiking trails and beach access to the warm waters of Lake Erie.

Rondeau offers an open area for campers and swimming in Rondeau Bay or Lake Erie. This park also features hiking trails and guided hikes, Visitor Centre wildlife presentations and campfires.

Clearville park campground

Clearville Park and Campground overlooks Lake Erie and borders Clear Creek Forest with quiet, secluded camping. Seasonal and overnight sites offer beach access, scenic walking trails and close proximity to the Greenview Aviaries Park and Zoo.


Camp St Clair

Camp St. Clair invites you to choose from three amazing campgrounds: Warwick, A.W. Campbell and L.C. Henderson. All offer excellent overnight and seasonal sites, clean swimming pools, safe playgrounds and fun nature trails.


Mitchells Bay marin park

Mitchell’s Bay Marine Park features 108 sites, boat launch ramps on site and close proximity to beaches and playgrounds. They offer all the camper or fisherman needs: snack bar, bait shop, gas bar, and boat wells.
