In celebration of the annual wheat harvest, the popular Thamesville Threshing Festival and Parade draws huge crowds.

Just minutes from Thamesville, Longwoods Road is the site of the famous War of 1812 Battle of the Thames in which Shawnee leader Chief Tecumseh was killed. A tribute to the war hero stands across from the field.
