Golfing

Tee off at one of six challenging and beautiful golf courses, open most of the year. Chatham-Kent boasts one of the longest golfing seasons in Canada…with courses open 9 months of the year. Courses range from public to semi-private and feature 9, 18 and 27 holes.

Many courses, such as Willow Ridge Golf & Country Club, have full service, licensed clubhouses with menus that are creative and rich with local flavour.

Accept the challenge and fund of disc golf at Thamesgrove Conservation Area. With disc golf, players complete a hole by throwing a disc from a tee area toward a target, then throw again until the target is reached. As with regular golf, each throw is tallied and players hope to have minimal throws to reach the tee. The Thamesgrove course is mostly flat and lightly wooded.
