Chatham-Kent is a world-renowned destination for sport and game fishing in two of the most productive fresh water lakes in the world. Seven communities offer easy access to the Sydenham and Thames Rivers, Mitchell’s Bay, Erieau and Lakes St. Clair and Erie.

Adventure-seeking anglers can navigate local waters or choose a charter service to show them the hot spots. For those who prefer to bring their boat, Chatham-Kent has several well-equipped marinas and public boat launches available across the region.
Lake St. Clair, known for the Muskie, is also renowned for walleye, perch and, of course, the small mouth bass. On the eastern coast of Chatham-Kent is Lake Erie where fishermen boast great catches of walleye, salmon, rainbow trout and more.
