The 16th Annual Chatham Ribfest is here, and things are getting spicier, juicier and hotter! Introducing for the first time in years, a concert opening the event on Thursday! Kicking off with Renton Huggins, Red Sky Cartel and of-course JD Fortune of INXS to the bandshell powered by Riverview Gaming Centre! Friday features 40 hours over and 89 next. Saturday will feature Celebrity rib judging with special guest judge Joel Hansen (ModelVsFood), a you-tube sensation with over 1.1 million subscribers! In addition to Joel, Mayor Darrin Canniff and other local celebrities will join the panel. Love Muscle will help close the evening with Big Shiny Toons!
Sunday you can help the YMCA to “Push the Bus”, an event where a team races to be the fastest team to move the bus from start to finish in an attempt to raise money for local camps! Also, if you’re a Saint Clair College Alumni, you can head over to the St. Clair College Alumni VIP tent , where the first 300 people receive a ride wrist band with proof of SCC Alumni status. Lauren Victoria will set the atmosphere with her amazing take on country, folk, and rock covers, as well as her own original tracks.
