SATURDAYS AT 7 “phantom of the opera”

This concert takes a trip back in time to the 1920s during the height of the silent film era with the presentation of the 1925 silent film “Phantom of the Opera.” At a time when showings of silent films were almost always accompanied by live music, it is only fitting that we present tonight’s movie presentation with live organ accompaniment. Presented on St. Andrew’s historic 3-manual Casavant organ, we welcome Juno-award-winning organist Ian Sadler to the stage to bring us back to the 1920s for an evening to remember. This concert is co-sponsored by the Chatham Branch of the Royal Canadian College of Organists.
